The Academy's programs have established benchmark standards and value in the officially recognised development parthway for athletes in sport. The Academy works closely with recognised State Sport Agencies, the NSW Institute of Sport and Distric Associations to ensure its programs are fully endorsed and provide an integrated pathway for talented athlete development.
The Academy's programs provide significant "added value' to an athletes personal development through application of high level coaching resources, educational and technical development componenets, personal development and a variety of competition opportunities.
The Academy draws athletes from the following Local Government Areas:
- Campbelltown
- Liverpool
- Camden
- Wollondilly
The Academy presently conducts athlete development programs in nine sports disciplines - catering for individual athletes developmenet as well as team based performance for those relevant sports. Over 160 athlete scholarships are provided on an annual basis to talented atheltes who meet selection criteria in the following sports:

- Rugby League
- Hockey
- Softball
- Athletes With a Disability
